Alan Jackson, Contracts Manager at Stevens Traceability celebrated his 70th birthday at Stevens HQ yesterday. Thinking he was attending a meeting with the service team, Alan was surprised with a celebratory lunch and gifts by his colleagues, with some of his old colleagues attending the surprise lunch too.
Alan joined Stevens in 1988 where he has done several roles including service engineer, area service manager, national service manager, and more recently contracts manager. His career has always involved weighing, from doing a 4-year apprenticeship on mechanical devices at the age of 16, he also witnessed the change in the industry when electronics started to appear in the early 70s. His engineering experience over the years working with small and large companies has brought Stevens’ customers a vast amount of knowledge and expertise.
