On the 7th and 8th June, the Scottish Bakers Annual Conference and Scottish Baker of the Year Awards took place at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow.

Stevens Traceability had the pleasure of co-exhibiting at the conference with software partner Cybake where both companies showcased their software to bakeries and industry professionals over the two-day event.

Harry Gow of Inverness won the Scottish Baker of the Year award for the second time, which is a first at the 8-year old awards. The family bakery also won six more awards on the night including Retail Craft Baker of the Year together with awards for their chicken curry pie, celebration cake, and wholemeal bread.

Andrew Martin, Area Sales Manager for Scotland said:

“It was great to meet and hear about the successes of the award-winning bakeries in Scotland. The day conference saw industry professionals and bakers come together to share ideas and expertise, with the awards evening a night of celebration for the winners of all the categories.

Sharing a stand with Cybake also allowed us to show how the Stevens Traceability System can be integrated with third-party software.”
