Calibration Engineer (North)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Field-based, covering North of England

We are recruiting for a Calibration Engineer to service clients across the North of England.

Travel will be across the region. One day you might be in Manchester, another you may be in Leeds or Harrogate. This role would be suitable for candidates who want to follow a field-based career.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, with the opportunity to progress into a service engineer.

The Role

• You’ll be providing calibrations for a variety of weighing equipment on customer sites, carrying certified weights of up to 20kg, completing documentation, and providing excellent customer service for customers in the region.
• You will visit customer sites daily, providing calibration services.
• For every visit you carry out, you will record data, and feedback information to Head Office so that calibration certificates can be provided to the customer.
• Excellent time keeping, organisation and customer service skills are a must for this role.
• You must be physically fit and able to carry, move and lift weights up to 20kg.
• Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, and there is the opportunity to progress into a Service Engineer.

Skills & Experience

• Full clean driving license
• A DBS certificate
• Interest in PC-based systems
• Customer Focused
• Willing to travel across North England.
