CASSEL INSPECTION INTEGRATION
We are delighted to be able to integrate metal detection and x-ray from CASSEL Inspection into our own checkweigher units. Combined, these will enable reliable quality assurance for packaged and unpackaged products on the production line, this benefits both the customer and business. Our manufacturer agreement means we can provide the best service and support too.

METAL SHARK BD
Typically integrated into our checkweigher units or used as a standalone system before our checkweighers, the Metal Shark BD is a reliable metal detector unit that can detect the smallest magnetic and non-magnetic contaminants in packaged or unpackaged products and in numerous different industry sectors. This includes ferrous, non-ferrous, stainless-steel, aluminium etc. Housed in closed, robust stainless steel, the Metal Shark is easy to clean and has an IP65 rating as standard – with optional IP66 or IP69K enclosures available on request.
Ferrous-In-Foil
Housed in the same Metal Shark BD unit as described above, this ferrous in foil unit has the ability to detect metal contaminants within products that are packaged within aluminium-coated foils or aluminium trays.

X-RAY INSPECTION
This basic x-ray unit can be used to detect any substance whose density is somewhat different from the product that is being inspected. Typically used before our checkweighers, this can help to identify any issues like impurities, air bubbles, breaks, and more. It is particularly suitable for packaged food or non-food products, for example in plastic packaging, jars, cartons, and even metal foil or metal cans. Unwanted foreign objects such as metal, stones, ceramics, or plastic with high density in the product are detected. CASSEL Inspection X-Ray inspection systems have over 40 different algorithms, with 255 pre-set options. This makes it easily adaptable for any different products you need to check!
